What is Social Communication Service?
A service, founded by Anette Weber in 2004 which wants to enable the
members of Expats families to cope with the German system and
lifestyle. We as SoComS understand that Integration is more than just
fitting in a new community. It is a complex process of developing an
identity which enables you to act independently in your new environment.
Integration can affect the whole personality. Learning of the influence
how integration will affect your personality increase the chances to
adjust as well as cultural and language - training. Therefore we
developed a comprehensive training.
Which services does Social Communication Service provide?
* Integration Courses
* Individual Coaching and support referring to socialising or communication
Our Integration courses take a theoretical and practical approach of
the new situation and challenges. Practical exercises, plan games and
structured discussing improve the ability to identify personal and
cultural hindrances of integration. The overall goal is to enable the
participants to cope with transition and adjusting by giving insight
into the German structure and lifestyle and achieving confidence
through comprehensive training. They include the following:
* Giving useful information to get settled and to orientate
* Exploring the German every day life and habits
* Explaining the do`s and don't`s of German life
* Discovering the new environment and culture
* Language Training
* Defining practical strategies to maintain in the new community
* Increasing willingness and ability of integration
* Developing and strengthening of personal and communication skills
* Working out identity skills which ease finding a balance between the own and the new culture
* Defining objectives and goals
* Coping with Culture Shock
* Having fun and making friends
Social Communication Service also provides expatriates, trailing
spouses and their families who are troubled by a special problem with
Individual Coaching.

Who is the team of Social Communication Service?
Social Communication Service is managed by its founder Anette
Weber.
She has a degree in social work and practised a lot working with
foreign families. She has also worked as theatre director and coach for
several years. She experienced working and living in foreign
countriesand therefore she knows all about the possible problems and
pitfalls.
 Annette Weber also cooperates with other institutions and coaches for a broader range of services.
